Pros: cost, native 16:9 lcd panels (rare), tons of inputs, quiet, anti-screen door picture management.

Cons: not many. yeah its not a sharp $10k projector.

Truly awesome. Native 16:9 lcd panels x 3. all the inputs you will ever need, even a SD card slot. this is for someone who want a serious hdtv 16:9 widescreen home theater. most projectors are native 4:3 and if you want 16:9 you lose resolution with huge cutoffs on the top and bottom.

forget rear projection or plasma. you can buy a car for what a 60 inch hdtv plasm costs! biggest hdtv rear projection is a mits 83inch at $20k. keep dreaming!

go all the way for home theater.....big screen, serious speakers, and some comfy furniture, etc.
