Pros: Never skips (even w/heavily scratched CDs), Great battery life, Displays MP3 ID3 tags
Cons: 100% Plastic, Max vol too low, No FF & RW for MP3s, No power cable
The Bottom Line: Anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a device that can handle large amounts of music and would like to play regular CDs as well.

| mycologist's Full Review: Panasonic SL-MP70 Personal CD Player |
My minidisc player broke down so I thought about alternatives. I hated the hassle of recording my songs to the MD player in real-time, so I knew I wanted something that involved my computer in doing that process for me. I checked out all of the flash & jukebox mp3 players and all of them either were too expensive or held only 128MB. Thats why I decided to get the SL-MP70; it costed about a 1/4 of the MP3 jukeboxes that held massive amounts of music and was the same price as the 128MB flash memory ones. Drawbacks are that I am unable to fast forward or rewind MP3s as they play and the absence of a power adapter [no batteries either]. There were two Panasonic models that were the same price and had similar features, except; the SL-MP70 had a large display for showing scrolling ID3 tags and the other was partially made of metal and had an AM/FM tuner.
