| novablast's Full Review: Panasonic SL-MP70 Personal CD Player |
Upon upgrading to my first mp3 player with the sl-mp70, I was expecting a completely new experience, but was quite dissapointed. The sl-mp70 does it's job and plays the mp3's and cd's with no problems, but it was the small things that really bothered me. The mp3 player has no skip ten feature or something similiar which causes the user to press the next button way more than necessary. I don't know if i'm the only one that feels this way, but I was extremely let down by the sound. The quality is excellent, but the maximum volume allowed is a joke compared to duraband players. I've already bought 2 more pairs of headphones in hopes of increasing the volume, but the player simply doesn't allow it. I guess I can't be to hard on Panasonic, because it is obvious that they are still getting a hang of the whole mp3 player thing.
