Cons: Limited amount of memory, bigger than most mp3 players, doesn’t play Burned DVD’s.

Ipods definitely rule. :)
As for the swishing sound, there is that noise when put on random, but thankfully it isn't that loud. I noticed it the first time I used the unit but after that I completely blocked it out.

i had one of these mp3/cd players. it was annoying because the CD swishing around in there was so loud and switching MP3 tracks took an annoying 3-4 seconds each time. i gave up and bought an iPod a few months later.

iPod still reigns supreme!!!! nice review.
