Pros: Great sound quality, superb clarity, good power handling.
Cons: A little "boxy", but who cares ?
The Bottom Line: Even if you listen mostly to music you should not skip on a good center if you are into surround. This speaker will stand comparison with units twice as expensive.

Just acquired this a few weeks ago as a final complement to my setup that I have been upgrading since last January (NAD T-763 A/V Receiver, Monitor 9 as mains and PS-1200 for the sub). Will probably replace my poor rear speakers in the months to come (acoustic profiles PSL 0.5).
Once again Paradigm has done it. This center channel speaker matched almost instantly with my Monitor 9's. It brought new life to the center stage. I could not believe the improvement in the clarity and details that I could get. And though I have been using it mostly with music for now, I am sure it will be as amazing once I'll pop a good movie in my DVD player. I was aware of the importance of a good center in a HT setup (this is my first center speaker ever), but take my word for it even with music (especially human voice) it's a great addition. I use the EARS surround setup (NAD's exclusive) and I just love the way the instruments travel in my room.
Right out of the box this center sounded a little thin and "nosey". But with a little tweaking in the speakers levels and a few days of use, it just disappeared and integrated perfectly. My only reproach would be that it is not easy to put anything on it because of the shape and it won't win a beauty contest, being a little "boxy" (but what the heck !). As expected, it is shielded so placing it anywhere won't cause interferences.
