Pros: Durable - no problems in @ 10 years of use. Great sound with meaty low-frequencies.
Cons: You'll never want to buy new speakers.
The Bottom Line: You owe it to yourself to check out the Titans in particular and Paradigm speakers in general. The folks who try them, buy them.

When I went shopping for my first home audio system 10 years ago (gosh has it been that long?) I stumbled upon Paradigm speakers. I was in college and didn't have much cash, but I absolutely fell in love with the Monitor 7. They were out of my price range then, but the salesman asked me if I'd heard the Titans.
"Which ones are they?" I asked when he switched them on. In their listening room with the stereo-shop-typical wall of speakers it wasn't immediately obvious. I was astonished when he pointed to the 2nd smallest set. After a few weeks of extensive searching for something better, I went back and bought the Titans.
I was nervous because this was my first audio purchase and as we all know things that sound different in a listening room than they do in your living room. I've lived in three different places and the Titans continue to impress. After 10 years I have no plans to replace them (not ready for a theater setup though I'm sure they'd do well there too). Only plans I have is to possibly add a subwoofer because my new house has a larger space for them to work in than before, and I think for the few movies I watch it'd be a good addition.
No problems or noticable degradation of sound quality either. I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I like to listen to music, loudly when possible. My interest is mostly with classic rock, alternative/extreme rock, and heavy metal. I also use the Titans for almost all the TV/movies I watch.
