I went looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers to start my system. I thought I had listened to everything when I bought a pair of boston acoustic CR8's. Two days later I found a shop where I now buy all of my audio equipment. I listened to what they had and found the Titans. The next day I brought in my CR8's and listened to them next to the titans. At the time, the CR8's sold for $330 and the titans went for $209. I was amazed by the difference. The Titans, a slightly smaller speaker, had superior bass and a crossover that made the CR8's sound harsh and painful. I know this sounds a little too good to be true, it isn't. All I would suggest is that you listen to the Paradigm titans before you buy any competing speaker.
