The Bottom Line: I hope 6 Ave will solve my problen BUT I AM SURE PENTAX (service) never does.

Optio 555 BRAND NEW DOES NOT OPEN THE LENSES AFTER 3 h /battery charge and 10 SHOOTS WAS MADE. I spent 3 days to find proper camera for me after my old Sony dsc50 2.1mp/3opt x4dig. was stolen . I have had 3 cameras to choose from Olympus c 750uz, Olympus c 5060 wide zoom, which was selected as BEST BUY by PC WORLD.com and Pentax O550. Both Olympus were too bulky and I decided that I don’t need 10X. Decision was made Pentax. I found a ton of review that says this camera one of the best on the market today. Yes it's no any other camera on the market with same dimensions and weight. Both Olympus were to bulky and I decided that I don’t need 10X. Decision was made Pentax. I found a ton of review that says this camera very good. Yes it's no any other camera on the market with same dimensions and weight. Combination of 5 mg pix and Pentax. were do you want to buy your camera, in department store or on the internet .According to my
experience it’s better to buy in the department store because this camera is not a $ 100 dollar thing. Anyway you can buy it in 6Ave department store but check the price in internet at www.6ave.com In store they had price $ 549 but on site it was $ 437 and they drop price for me $437 + TAX .
I charged the battery until green light shows up ,than I made 10 shoots and turned camera off .
I installed pc software and turned on camera but CAMERA DOEST WORK AT ALL .I thought, that may be battery is low or empty, so I charged battery again until light shows green , properly installed battery and NOTHING CAMERA MADE SOME STRANGE NOISE,LENS OPEND AND IMMEDIATELLY CLOSED. After I went to the Pentax site and found that THEY DON’T HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE please don’t call
