Overall, we like this phone a lot

Pros: Clear/good sound quality, good range, and spare battery that the base can operate on
Cons: Not wall mountable, clumsy menu navigation at times, and no shared name/number lists
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend the phone (and have) because of its good range and sound quality.

We've had one now for a while, and my wife and I both like it. She was skeptical at first (because of the price), but has come around and likes the phone, too.
It's much clearer than any other cordless phone we tried, and doesn't sound as "tiny" (i.e. like you're talking from inside a tin can) as many other digital phones. It also has a very good range. We have the base unit upstairs, and the handset in the basement far away from the base unit.
The three biggest cons are:
(1) There's no way to wall mount the base unit. We'd like to hang it in the kitchen, but can't.
(2) We live in an area with 10-digit dialing, and using the phone's call history to return calls requires pushing extra buttons to get to the 10-digit option.
(3) There's no shared phone number lists. You have to program each phones' memory individually. This can be tedious if you're doing more than just saving names/numbers from the call history.
Other than that, we really like the phone. We're planning on adding more handsets now that we're in a bigger house.
One other feature that I really like is that the base unit can store/charge an extra battery (not included, though). This comes in handy all of the time. My wife frequently forgets to put the handset back into the charger, and when we go to use it the battery is dead. No problem, because we can go and fetch a fully charged battery from the base unit. Also, in the event of a power failure you're not dead in the water like you are with other cordless phones because the base unit can operate off of the spare battery. Speaking of the battery, we have not seen poor battery life; it's fine for us.
