I bought a newer model of this phone a while back, and since it has been a joy to use. The clarity is good for a 900mhz. The range was suprisingly far, it is crystal clear all through the house, and even out to across the street. The phone is comfortable, and the charger is small, and not bulky. The battery lasts longer than any other phone that I have had. The last cordless we had was a panasonic, and I would not recomend that thing to anyone. As for sony, it has been great so far. I have not used any of the speed dial options, and don't plan to, so I will not review that part of the phone.
