Hi Kjell--That was the one of the problems that I had with the AT&T phone. It did not connect quite right. I put a piece of wood under one edge of the unit, and it connected. That didn't look too good though with a piece of wood stuck under there.
I'm glad your phone starting working again (-:

Hi Quinn--I think it would be hard to beat this one. It's worked great, and the cost was very low. If I needed another phone, I'd look at this same model again.

I have the Caller ID version of this phone. It works great except for one period of time (~3 months) where the phone wouldn't charge while sitting on its charger. I had to put a piece of cardboard to prop it up so it could charge. Then magically one day it worked fine again. Weird.

Phone Home? (Reply to this comment)
by JediKermit
We've had bad luck with phones--in the last three years we've had to replace our main phone three times, most recently last month. We forked out 45.00 for something--I think it's from Uniden, and so far it's fine. We may check this model out for a new "upstairs" phone though...sounds like it could be a winner.
Nice review--thanks!
