mburni9's Full Review: Pinnacle Studio 9 Full Version for PC (210100341)
After many frustrating experiences and some success with previous Pinnacle Studio versions 7 and 8, I figured it was just my 6-year old P III 500 MHZ PC that was the problem. WRONG! I bought a new P4 3.0 GHZ Dell 8400 PC and expected plug-and-play-no-issue-superior-DVD -authoring. I have had nothing but trouble with this buggy software including frequent crashes, freezes, audio/video sync issues, basically all the same problems that I had experienced when I tried to use this crummy ver 8.0product on my old PC. IT SHOULD JUST PLUG AND PLAY!! If you don't believe me, just go to their knowledge database and see all the user issues people are trying to resolve. Trust me, I've read hundreds trying to figure out my own solutions. I am more computer savvy than the average user and I don't know how they can sell this product when an average user would not know how to begin to solve the problems this crappy software gives. Just look at all the "possible" solutions they offer on their support site. You need to ask yourself, "Am I willing to install and uninstall this software and/or following the 20 possible options to solve each problem?" I am cutting my losses and I will never purchase a Pinnacle Studio product again.
