First off, this CD deck is the same as the DEH-P300 and the DEH-33. I really enjoy having this deck in my VW Rabbit. I have gone through many of them and they always skip since my ride is so rough. A friend told me to purchase a Pioneer to solve this problem and I am glad I took his advice. I have never had it skip even once.

There are so many features on this device that I could write for ages. I'll try to mention the most important. If you want a good bass system and you have a sub that's already placed in a box, this is awesome. You don't need an external amp or crossover because you can make the CD player power the rear speakers as subwoofers and then it has a built in crossover and amp. The screen also dims when I turn on my headlights so that it isn't too bright at night. Not to mention that you can see the screen great under any light.
I enjoy how you can contour the sound with a completely adjustable EQ that allows you to change each frequency. Not only that but you can have the high end come out the front, while it leaves more of the bass in the rear. This thing is adaptable and connected. It is ready for XM radio if you have a tuner and antenna. Plus you can type in (Though it takes a while) the titles of all your CD's so that when they are playing the title is on screen. This CD player has 50watts X 4 so power shouldn't be an issue for anyone.
The flip face is really nice because then you don't lose space on the front for the disc to slide through and the screen is bigger. I haven't found any problems with mine and am extremely satisfied. I went on Ebay and got this for $60 and would suggest it for anyone. Nobody really needs a fancy color screen that shows pictures sliding across it. One more thing, when you hit a button, the clock stays on. Not like those dumb CD players that only show the clock for 5 seconds.
Amount Paid (US$): 60
