Spring is in the air, and summer right around the corner. It's a perfect time to try out a new fragrance for the season, or perhaps surprise a loved one this Mother's Day with a special gift of Estee Lauder Pleasures Eau de Parfum Spray.
~ Fragrance Description
This delightful, light floral scent is a classic, and I think has a wide range of appeal from young to old, although it is not what I would consider edgy, or trendy, and some younger women may prefer something a little more unique.
From Estee Lauder's website, they describe this fragrance as "a delightful sheer floral created from lilies and peonies, jasmine and Karo-Karounde blossoms, all tingling with the rare essence of Baie Rose."
The top notes are white lilly and violet leaves. The middle notes are Black Lilac, White Peony, Karo-Karounde, Baie Rose. And the base notes are Sandalwood and Patchouli.
The 0.5 oz. spray comes in a clear bottle with a silver top. The bottle is nice, but nothing to rave about. The sprayer works well, and allows you direct a fine mist of spray wherever you want it to go.
~ My Experience
I have become quite fond of Estee Lauder Pleasures Eau de Parfum Spray. The scent as you sniff it from the bottle definitely mellows and deepens after you've applied it to your skin. I prefer the scent after it has warmed and mellowed.
It is a very light fragrance, suitable for daytime functions or outdoor situations. It is not at all overpowering. Even if you over apply and it seems too strong at first, the scent fades and mellows fairly quickly. For all day wear, you will most likely need to reapply.
While the fragrance deepens and mellows, it doesn't tend to go "sour" throughout the day. The scent stays nice, even though it will fade.

Estee Lauder Pleasures Eau de Parfum Spray is good for layering, as there are several bath and body products available in this scent. And since the fragrance is so light, you can add the body lotions or shower gel, which only help to create a longer-lasting scent.
