jersey101's Full Review: Polaroid OneStep Film Camera
I bought a Polaroid Camera because I wanted instant pictures of my baby girl. Sometimes I just want a picture now and not wait for it to develop. That is the biggest reason why I got the camera. The camera has good color and when that event happens and you need to shoot, just press the button and out comes the picture. There isn't anything complicated about the camera. No settings, no way to mess up the picture. When I want someone to shoot a picture, that's all I have to do is just tell them where the button is to shoot and they can get it quickly.
The camera has worked well so far. It is a pain to take the whole cartridge out and put the other in. The cartridges are so bulky to carry, put in. It takes a few seconds to pull the old one out and put the new one in. I guess it's no worse then loading a 35mm. The camera itself is very bulky also. You have to have a big bag just to carry it. Being big can have a positive affect. I can find the camera easy if I need to find it in a hurry.
One thing that made me think of getting this camera for sure is that the camera itself isn't badly price. It's the film. The price for the film is just wrong. For one thing, there isn't enough film shots per box for the price. I know that's the price for having instant film, but at least put in a few more pictures. This camera isn't used for every family event. So, the amount of times I by the film, I won't go broke. But, for those cute moments, I will use it. It's easy enough for anyone to use and shoot. Plus, you don't have to worry about batteries since each film pack provides that, so to speak. So, for specific events you don't want to wait for film developing, I recommend the Polaroid camera.
