scottarkin's Full Review: Polaroid OneStep Film Camera
I recently bought the Polaroid OneStep Express for my girlfriend's birthday (it's not for what you think... well maybe it is ;)
For the price (I saw it at several places for $40 but I was able to get it at Wal-mart for $35) it's one great camera! It's very easy to use -- just point and shoot and walaa, you have pictures! And it comes in an cool design -- like a mix between an iMac and a Beetle.
The Polaroid OneStep Express comes with the following features:
- adjustable lens for close-up shots
- a little tote bag so you can carry the camera, film, etc around easily (although the camera itself has a cool handle so it's easy to carry around anyway)
- automatic flash so you don't have to worry about in/outdoor lighting
- no batteries required (each pack of film comes with a fresh battery)
- one year warranty
If you're looking for a Polaroid camera with a few more features (and still with this cool design) check out the OneStep AF -- it's about $15 to $20 more, but worth it if you take lots of Polaroid pictures.
My only complaint is about the camera's film -- at about $10 to $12 bucks for a pack it does add up after awhile. But then again, we don't use it on a daily basis for taking pictures (for that we use our average 35mm camera)... so we save it for special occassions *cough, cough* like birthday parties, when friends are over, etc. :)
So if you're looking for a fun/easy camera to use, or gift for someone else, the Polaroid OneStep Express is a great choice. Overall, it's been a joy to use!
