jpk1121's Full Review: Polaroid PDV-0700 7 in. Portable DVD Player
I bought the Polaroid PDV-0700 Portable DVD Player off of eBay. It was supposed to be New In Box, which is was not. That's the seller's fault for advertising it that way. Otherwise, I think this model is one of the best out there for the money. The screen is nice, the picture is even better. The construction needs to be better; being portable subjects the unit to abuse through your travels. For example, the AC plug on mine is loose for whatever reason, most likely from being moved around a lot. I will say that the construction isn't the worst, it just could be better.
The wireless remote works great, although the buttons can be hard to see in the dark. The speakers work great for their small size, which was a nice surprise to me. I don’t use the battery, so I cannot attest to battery life. I have not replaced the battery in the remote since I’ve had the DVD player, so that battery lasts a while.
Polaroid could consider manufacturing a carrying case designed for this model, as I travel with it regularly and needed to by an aftermarket carrying case. Nonetheless, my Polaroid Portable DVD Player has been great and I recommend it to any potential shopper.
