OK. I love the Archos Jukebox Recorder...but...boy am I glad I bought the extended service warranty. My first foray into the world of MP3 players was with the Archos brand. The design is GREAT. The storage capacity is GREAT. The ease of use is GREAT. What isn't great? The fact that the hard drive has gone bad three times in the past two years. Now granted, I am not the most gentle user of my electronic devices, but holy crap, three times in two years? Come on. I finally got sick of dealing with Best Buy and their "No Hassle" service plan, so I switched to a new player. I really wish Archos would deal with the issue of mechanical failure in this device, because I think it is otherwise the best designed player out there.
