| mikeinnj's Full Review: Pogo RipFlash Plus (128 MB) MP3 Player |
My 7 year old daughter was getting tired of listing to the Sesame Street and Disney songs that are the favorites of her younger siblings while traveling in the van. Instead of a CD player, I can control what "big kid" songs go on to the MP3 player. She can work it no problem. I bought regular headphones for it but the sound was good either way. It can record voice too which surprised her!
The software is simple but could use some enhancements; like playlist management. You need to copy the WMA/MP3 files to it in the order you want them to play. There's no reorganizing after the fact. Also, PoGo has yet to release a Media Player 9 plug-in so I can copy songs to the player directly from MP9 rather than opening up the MP3 Manager software. This is particularly an issue with licensed songs from the new Napster.
Overall, I'm very happy with this player.
