I recieved this from my husband for a birthday present earlier this year (2003). I have been looking for a portable playing device to use at work. I work for the US Postal Service and when I am getting my route ready in the morning I like to listen to music. We are allowed to as long as the device is portable enough not to be restrictive when we work. I really like the controls on this mp3 player. It is very easy to turn the volume up or down without looking at the player, it is also easy to put the player on the "random" setting so it will play the songs randomly. It is very easy to hook up to the computer and it is the easiest product I have used yet with my computer. I didn't have to download any "drivers" or anything else! I can convert almost any kind of music to my computer and put it on my Rio! This is a very userfriendly device!
