Pros: Rechargeable battery, easy to use.
Cons: Only 32mb, and memory isn't standard.
The Bottom Line: If you can get one cheap, go for it. Otherwise look for one with removable memory.

| dangray's Full Review: Rio 600 (32 MB) MP3 Player |
The Rio600 has 32mb memory, I purchased an additional 64mb ($80). I like the rechargable battery, it's a standard AA battery so if it goes bad, it's cheap and easy to replace. It has USB interface and downloads pretty quickly. I don't like that the memory isn't standard compact flash or anything that can be moved from player to player. It only works with the Rio. The sound quality was as good as others. Display easy to read. Battery life from a single AA is normal. I like that the charger shuts off after charging the battery. You can use Microsoft Media player to download your mp3 files to the Rio600, making the interface easy to use.
