Re: copying songs (Reply to this comment)
by digital_menace
As the (Limited) documentation says, it is not recommended that files are copy in this way. The first one I tried, I did just that. I then tried to play the song I had just copied. I'd get about 10 seconds of digital noise and the thing would power itself off. The second, I used the jukebox, same result. It is possible that Best Buy had received a bad batch, but when I grabbed the Third one and had the tech try, he got the same results. Each one was using different memory cards as well. Like I always say, IF it makes one customer happy and they recommend it, buy it and try it. You can always take it back.

copying songs (Reply to this comment)

I own a RIO ONE and if you have windows 98 or XP on your computer you can just open Windows Explorer and you will see the player as an additional drive so you can just copy files to it like you would a floppy drive. There is no need to mess around with Real Jukebox.
