| meltdown213's Full Review: Rio One (32 MB) MP3 Player |
I'm new to Epinions and writing about a product I used to have. I've had 3 MP3 players over the past year, they were the RIO 800($250), RIO ONE($99), Intel Personal 3000 64mb($79). The Rio One was my favorite. Sound quality was better than the both the RIO 800 and Intel. The buttons where well placed and easy to use in workouts. I added an 32mb smart media card($25) and could store 21-24 songs at 96kbps. The software RealPlayer is a pain, but I've yet to find an MP3 player whose software isn't a pain.
The reason I got rid of my RIO One was it wasn't supported in Windows XP. When I upgraded to Windows XP I searched high and low for the Rio One drivers. I emailed RIO tech support inquiring about the drivers, they never replied.
Last time I looked for Drivers was in FEB 2002.
If you want great sound quality and cheap memory prices, than you might want to give this player a try.
