Pros: SD1GB no prob, great batt life, terrific sound, lightweight, great plastic carrying case and armband.
Cons: Not plug nplay, needs Music program 2transfer music, difficult 2get into HOLD mode and out.
The Bottom Line: No one else makes a neatly molded carrying case and arm band accessory included with their player, if they do its hard to access the unit. Get a Rio now!

When I saw the Rio S30S 64MB, its sporty design, battery life, and specifically the carrying case and optional armband accessory, I decided to purchase my first MP3 player ever - I still have it!
I needed something like this especially since I bike 40miles a day on Mon and Wed, Rollerblade 14 Miles on Thurs, and then a lite 2mile jog-stretch on Friday- I tried 3 brands of the Anti-Skip CD Players and I still was not happy- especially since I broke 2 of them when I crashed on my Rollerblades! Not fun! I RAVE every Saturday, does that apply here?
Anywayz, my CD collection was staggering when I bought the Rio. I had heard of the IPods massive storage capability but I was not sure how much music I had (in Gigs) and read the I-Pod converts music to Apple format and once its in that format- its OVER! They'll be in that Ipod format 4ever!! Not so with the Rio!!
I dropped the thing about 10 times and still the unit works fine- no more music skipping!! No more CD Player falling to the ground while the headphones rip my ears to shreds; this is mainly because of the neatly molded carrying case and arm band accessory included with this player. Get a Rio now!
