Pros: Full featured, sure

Cons: Unit has never worked/ fast but useless service

Opened the S50 package and plugged the unit in order to charge it. Nothing appeared on the screen despite the fact that I tried several plug points. I then called Sonic Blue service (quick response) and I was told by the technician that there appeared to be something wrong with both my player and rechargeable battery. Return both to Sonic Blue, they said, which I did by courier. In a couple of weeks they sent me a new unit --- but there was no battery within. I called Sonic Blue service immediately to tell them about their mistake. Oops, sorry, they said, we do not have any batteries left, so buy one yourself. What sort of a company is this that sells a defective product and then expects the buyer to ante up $35 more for a replacement battery? My advice: patronize another manufacturer.
