I'm glad I was forced to buy the Samsung YP-E64. I finally broke down and bought a MP3 when my company ordered my new COMPAQ iPAQ computer for me, my new computer includes a floppy disk drive but no CD-ROM. I’ll tell you about my new computer in a later review. My previous computer although it was a dinosaur compared to my new one; at least included a CD-ROM. My new computer the iPAQ is so fast it allows me to search the Internet in record time. Downloading my favorite songs to my Samsung MP3 player in the blink of an eye. Unlike my old computers CD player, I can search the Internet for just the kind of music I want and assemble my own custom play lists easily, just by pointing and clicking my mouse. There’s nothing like assembling your favorite songs that are suited for your own taste, you get to skip all the songs the recorder made that will never be hits, plus you can legally mix and sample different songs.
The Samsung MP3 allows me to be my own Disc Jockey able to pick the programming I want, getting continuous hits back to back with no DJ interrupting.
My MP3 player also comes with a docking station that attaches to the parallel port of my COMPAQ. I simply choose my selections to download, and then in a few moments the MP3 records like charm.
One of my friends told me that the sound of the MP3 is not as good as a CD player, but I can’t hear the difference. It’s still a little pricey but what's $200.00 dollars compared to silence. I would recommend the Samsung MP3 player.
