mcyener_dt3000's Full Review: Sony CFD-G70 Cassette/CD Boombox
I'm very satisfied with its sound and looking.
It is a little bit expensive because paying same price ($ 129) or 10-20 more, you can easily buy book-shelf style products. But Sony brand name deserves the right to be expensive.
The major strength of this product is deep bass sound, thank to its Power Drive Woofer. I haven't tried "gamexpand", but if someone is looking for sound effects when playing games it would be nice.
The major weaknesses are; lack of auto reverse in cassette, lack of remote control operation in cassette and small LCD screen without illumination.
If somebody is dealing with this product, unfortunately it is not available everywhere, but it is available in J&R in Lower Manhattan.
As a last word; I did not give "5" rating to this product. In its class, it is a very very good product, but with this price do not expect to much!
