The Sony Industry has been making high quality products for many years, and the Walkman is not an exception. The Sony Walkman DE220 is nothing short of a high-quality personal CD Player. Unlike most CD Players, the Walkman has a special Electronic Shock Protection which prevents any skips in the CD that would be caused by external disturbances. The feature can be turned on or off. The Walkman is great for those who jog or bike with a CD Player because of the ESP. It also includes a hold feature which eliminates accidental button pressing. The CD Player is relatively small, making it perfect for travel or jogging. The Walkman surprisingly plays most recordable CD's, making it perfect for those who make their own custom-made mix CD's. Special features allow you to change the bass / treble sound and performance. This is definitely not your normal CD Player, its something much, much more. Along with the advanced features the CD Player also includes basic features such as fast-forward, pause, rewind, skip song, and volume controls. This audio device also features the standard visual screen. The Sony Walkman runs on 2 AA Batteries or DC Power. The battery life is estimated around 25 hours. The sound quality is also amazing, even with standard headphones you will get a great sound that only the Walkman could produce. It only has one headphone jack so sorry friends, maybe later. The CD Player is fairly heavy, which gives you a good feeling knowing its built to last. It seems very durable, it can handle the normal wear of CD Players and can probably take a drop or two. One thing is for sure, Sony created another great product, the Walkman DE220!
