Down in Daytona Beach this past spring break my brother-in-law and I ran 6 of these, thank goodness for sponsorship, with 12 15" Digital Design subs in a Ford Explorer Sport. 6 of these amps at 2400 watts a piece was pumping the Explorer. My brother-in-law took first place in SPL outlaw with a 170.5 deafening db score. That day I went and bought 1 for my Dakota Sport and the now when I run out of gas the I just vibrate to the store. The only problem I have noted with the amp is that they do not do well, even though they have a simple built in Xover and bass recognition, with the older Xovers especially from Kicker. I bought a panasonic head unit with sub control and that added the trick needed to blow any woofer you have. Like Darmie said they do get a little warm however in the box design for my truck I added electric fans to push the air. For the money, depending on the stereo shop, this amp can't be beat and I will put the Dakota pink slip on it.
