As I said in the pros and cons part of this review, the print quality of this printer takes some beating - especially for the price! However, it can be a bit slow. For myself, the speed of the printer is not a major issue, as I do not print a lot of documents, but I am unsure about recommending this as an office printer. I can see people getting annoyed with it, and I don't think it would cope with extended use anyway.
What this printer IS good for is a starter printer for the home. I haven't had a single jam with it yet and I've used it at least once every two days for 2 months. The software that comes with it make it very easy to use - even for the kids. Of course, the kids are usually even better at using the computer than the adults are. The software monitors the ink levels in the cartridges, and there are troubleshooting programs to help solve any problems with print quality you may have. This is standard with most printers, however.
One thing that I don't like about it is the collection drawer. It seems to be very flimsy, and a little accident could break it. I know that it's not an essential part of the printer's operation, but if that part breaks, then your freshly printed documents land on the floor.
