Cons: Epson INKJET photo paper can be expensive (but it looks the best)
The Bottom Line: The printer is inexpensive and will take care of all your day to day printing activities at home, including printing photos, and making greeting cards.

The first thing that struck me with this printer was that for such a nice printer, it sure was inexpensive, around $60.
The printer comes with a CD for easy installation of the printer. I had the printer connected within minutes. Being a college student, I primarily use my printer to print out documents for class. I have had this printer now for 2 years and I have had no problems with it.
I use standard printing or copy paper, either one the printer accepts very well and has no trouble printing on. However, with pictures, you cannot use any other type of paper except the INK-JET photo paper since it is designed primarily for an INK-JET printer like the Epson Stylus C62. I tried to use glossy photo paper and everything else, and they all smear, as well as regular printer paper just looks terribly faded. The INK-JET photo paper is more absorbent and allows the ink to permeate the paper. The photos come out perfectly, especially if you use the EPSON INKJET photo paper. You would never know that you printed it from your computer.
If you buy ink cartridges especially designed for the Epson Stylus C62, they can be pretty expensive over time. There are ways of refilling the old cartridges but I find it not really worth my time or money, not to mention the fact the mess! I usually buy the generic ink cartridges on E-bay, 2 black and 1 color for around $10, and they work perfectly! This printer will accept any generic ink cartridge as long as the manufacturer specifies that it's for an Epson C62.
There is only ONE real PROBLEM that I see with this printer. Sometimes if it has been a week or two since I've printed anything, the ink on the heads on the printer can start to dry and cause streaks/lines through the paper. Then I have to sit for at least 15 minutes cleaning the heads. Good part is, you don't have to manually clean the heads. You just click on the screen, "clean printer heads", and the printer does all the work! Then you print a test page to see if there are any more streaks/lines through the paper. If so you hit the "clean printer heads" button again and repeat the process until you see no more lines/streaks on the paper. It is very simple but can be time consuming if you don't print very often. Since starting classes, I print at least once a week and have had NO problems. I probably would not recommend this printer if you are only going to do an occasional print job once every two weeks or so. You would only get frustrated to have to keep cleaning the heads every time you print.
Otherwise, I do everything with this printer, from printing reports, to creating colorful brochures, and making greeting cards with my baby's photo. It is very versatile and with the CD to help set it up, anyone can use it.
