I am a college student in Philadelphia and my roommate and I were planning on sharing a printer. He said he had a Compaq printer at home and that he was gonna bring that one. About 2 weeks into the school year it just didn't print. Don't know why and we tried everything to fix it but it never worked again. So, we needed an affordable printer that could be used on an everyday basis. After doing some research on the internet, we decided to get the Epson Stylus C62.
Price
I bought this printer online at BestBuy.com. The original price was $100.00, but there was free shipping and a $20 dollar rebate, so i payed $80.00
Size
Being a college student, space is very limited. The printer isn't the smallest one in the world but I'd say it's the perfect size. The width is 18.8"; the diameter is 19.0"; and the height is 7.1".
Performance
Performance-wise, I think that I would give this printer a 9 out of 10. It's good for a college student who needs to print out their papers and an above average speed. Also, it's pretty good for printing out digital pictures. Although it's not great quality for pictures, it still gets the job done.

Paper Holding: hold up to 100 papers in tray
Connection: it can either be connected by a USB port or a regular parallel port for a printer

(I have Windows XP Professional and I haven't had any problems yet)

I would recommend this printer to anyone in the same position as I am. It's great!!
