Pros: Beautiful prints when new. Pre-mature printer failures.
Cons: Inreliable. Epson printers fail with error codes after limited use.
The Bottom Line: Too expensive to buy and maitain. Unreliable Epson drops support on older printers and Ink is way too expensive. Printer jams and fails with error messages. Save your money.

| junkyprinter's Full Review: Epson Stylus Photo® 925 InkJet Printer |
After having owned several of this family of EPSON printers (780,825,890 and 925), I finally decided to change brands. (I know, why didn't I learn?). Well, for awhile, the prints from these models seemed really nice and sharp, but constant cleaning of heads and jamming problems made EVERY one of them bite the dust way before they had much use. THE HEADS CLOG AND YOU MAY AS WELL THROW THE PRINTER OUT! THE LATEST problem is an error message (825, 925 and possibly others too) that shuts your printing down because it is programmed to do so after you use a certain number of cartridges. I guess the printer "thinks" that the ink from cleaning is filling up in the pads below which are there to catch the ink you trash each time you have to clean the lousy ink jet heads. NOT SO. The inside pads were still white in color, not saturated with any ink at all because I clean ABOVE pad often. INK IS EXPENSIVE too, and these printers were used in production of booklets for music cd's. COST makes it impossible to use these machines on such a costly item. I have changed to another brand which supports ALL operating systems from WIN95 to VISTA, which is needed in a production environment. No serious business owner should consider one of these unreliable machines. If you must buy Epson, buy the higher priced professional printers. BYE BYE EPSON. Free at last. Free at last.
