Pros: Great printer when it works

When this printer works it is great but this, unfortunately, is often not the case. About half the time, I receive a "this file did not print properly" error message and only half the print job is accomplished before the printer spews tons of blank paper and has to be shut off manually. There does not appear to be a way to contact Epson by email and attempts to update the driver are complicated by the fact that the "self-extracting" driver application does not self-extract. If you ever think you might need support this is not your printer.
On the positive side, the photo prints produced by this printer are quite remarkable with excellent color rendition and excellent resolution. I have had no mechanical paper jams and the ink costs are reasonable. A very useful feature is a “picture” showing how much ink is left in each cartridge.
