| pdytaz's Full Review: Epson Stylus Photo 960 InkJet Printer |
I work in the Pre Press industry and wanted a printer that would print high quality photos and use individual ink cartridges. When this printer works it is fine, but I have had so many problems with clogged nozzles and the ink cartridges not being recognized (usually the Magenta that using this printer is PURE AGGREVATION! I am almost to the point of sacrificing the $300 just to smash this thing up for my own personal satisfaction.
Right now I am trying to print out a simple letter to fax and cannot because the printer fails to recognize my Magenta cartridge and my black nozzle is completely clogged despite being nearly full. I cannot clean the nozzle because it wont recognize my Magenta cartridge and when it does it is too low also. So, you might ask, why don't you replace the cartridge? Because I have to special order them....nobody carries the damn things in a store.
This will be the LAST Epson product that I ever purchase and I will make every effort to dissuade anyone from buying one either.
