The Bottom Line: This is a good average priced printer. It isn't a rip off and it will serve you well. If you want a fun printer, I reccomend the PhotoSmart series.
chocolatellama's Full Review: Hewlett Packard DeskJet 845c InkJet Printer
When I bought this product, took it home, and opened the box, I found that the color cartridge that is supposed to be included with the printer was missing, so I had to take it back to the store (45 minutes away) to get another printer that DID have a color cartridge.
I installed the printer with the software that is included. It was fairly simple. But, for some reason, every time I start up my computer, it gives me an error, saying my printer driver has malfunctioned, even though everything prints out fine.
Ocassionally, when I press the print button, it just doesn't print. I have no idea why. I usually turn the printer off and then turn it back on and then it prints fine.
Also, when I print pictures, there are these faint little lines running horizontally across the picture.
The paper feeds well and it is fast enough. Although, printing pictures at the highest quality takes some time.
