Every person I show photos printed from this printer (DPP-EX7) think they are from a photo lab! Until they see the Sony name on the back of the photos I have to swear up and down that they came from my printer.
I'll List all the Pros & Cons of this printer:
PROS:
Photo Lab Quality Prints
Design & Create Special Effects (Titles,frames,stamps)
Edit photos w/Stylus on the screen
Speed of Prints Avg. 90 seconds=(4x6 paper)
Prints are water resistant
Portability of printer
Cons:
Paper Cost = Avg of .44 cents a 4x6 Print(buy Paper in Bulk online!!)
Software on printer itself can not be upgraded.(add new frames,fonts,stamps..)
If your photo was a little out of focus you will not be able to tell on the 2.5" screen!(waste of paper)
My Wife and I LOVE this Printer..Minutes after our daughter was born I was printing out the pictures of her right in the hospital room and handing them out to all....Needless to say making ALL the other new moms very jealous! hehehe ;) Or going to a Family Holiday and being able to print pictures right there and give them to other family and friends instead of the old " I'll send you copies "
If your into photos and hate making the trip to the photo lab twice(drop off & Pick up) or ever had the pleasure of them losing or ruining a roll of film. This is the printer for you! You will NOT be disappointed! Enjoy!
