I received this unit as a Christmas gift. What a damn disappointment it is.. I barely had the TV/DVD player for a month, when the DVD player went out. I called RCA/Thomson to find out what i should do. So they send Me to a local TV Repair. Who in turn has to send it back to RCA/Thomson for a replacement unit because(get a load of this) RCA/Thomson doesn't stock or manufacter any replacement parts for the DVD player. Ok if that isn't a total b**** on its own. You know having to wait for a replacement.. What really made me IRATE!!!! Was the fact that I had to wait for 7, yes 7 whole weeks.. Yes 7 weeks... Now I am no expert but come on 7 freaking weeks..

Now if that isn't bad enough. I received the new unit with a dent in the bottom edge on the front.. My fault for being more concerned about a working DVD player instead of looking for blimeshes. Well, the DVD player worked fine at the TV repair place.. Hell it even worked pretty good when I got it home.. Yes it worked alright, FOR A WEEK!!!!! I got to play maybe 10 DVD's and yes you guessed it.. THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM.. Which is that when you put any type of disc in the player. It says it is loading, loading, loading, and then wrong disc......??? What's up with that? I am so disappointed at this point in the game... All I REALLY WANT NOW IS MY MONEY BACK!!!! SO I CAN GET A DIFFERENT BRAND TV/DVD PLAYER. I REALLY DO NOT LOOK FORWARD TO DEALING WITH RCA/Thomson again. They are Rude, insensitive, and uncooperative.. And I have to spend my own money to call for any type service request or questions..
