Sorry, You're right. I forgot to put the warranty in my review. Here it is:
ONE FULL YEAR: replacement parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship.
FIVE YEARS: motor replacement if defective.

This gadget sounds like something in the space age. It goes up and down. Is there a warranty on the motor if it gives up. I think this sounds like a great filter for the kitchen. Just wondering great review.

We recently did a kitchen make-over and decided not to put in an exhaust fan, since there's a window over the stove. Not a great move. Unlike you, I frequently put stuff to cook on the stove, go to the computer for a "few minutes" on Epinions, and get back to the stove to watch charcoal try to become diamond (it never does).
Nice re-write!

Oy! I am truly not alone! As I sit here massaging the latest black and blue mark acquired while trying to stand up without spilling a cup of coffee (somehow the coffee table jumped in front of me - nasty little sucker!) I see that we have more in common than a remodeled kitchen.
This wonderful review taught me more than I wanted to know. The downdraft model caught my eye but I didn't want to spend the extra dollars on tearing up the floor or walls to set up the venting system. Bad move on my part and your review proves the point!

I didn't know there was such a thing, and am amazed that there is. Sounds great though. If there was a way I could ram into a hood of a stove, trust me I would. I crash into everything else!
