I purchased a Sony receiver and with Sony center, front, surround speakers and sub woofer. I was very disappointed in the sound quality and almost no sound from the surround speakers. Thinking it was the speakers, I considered upgrading but in reviewing Epinions on my speakers, I found they were rated very high. In talking to some professionals, they said your speakers are only as good as your receiver. So did some homework and discovered this Panasonic SA-HE100. The price was right and from everything i read, seemed like a good unit. Got my receiver yesterday, hooked it up to all my equipment (which was very easy, i might add) and was blown away by the sound. It rocked! Not real good with all the technical stuff, I just know what I hear. The surround sound was awesome! ConAir happened to be on that night and I was just amazed at the sound that came from my little surround speakers. I am totally happy. Since my Sony was just a little over a year old, I was concerned this was just another one of my impulse buys. Fortunately, I was so thrilled with the sound, that I "justified" my purchase! Now i have the complete home theater system I have always wanted and didn't have to go in debt to get it!!! Highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants a great system but doesn't want to spend a fortune! Thanks, Panasonic!!
