Pros: Quiet, cheap price, no razor burn or bumps, skin not numb after shaving
Cons: No stand, not being promoted enough
The Bottom Line: The Remington ES-1000 is great. For the price you can't go wrong in trying it out. Plus, you might no longer have to suffer with razor burn and bumps.

The Remington ES-1000 is the shaver to buy if you are one of many like myself that suffers from razor burn and bumps from shaving. For the past 20 years I've tried everything but nothing works. I settled for the Wahl beard trimmers and lived for years with the George Micheal 5 o'clock shadow. Then one day I search the web for shavers for black men being I have sensitive skin to shaving as some of them. I found the Wahl 4000 shaving system and the Remington ES-1000. I ordered the Wahl first being I've used their trimmers. It work good but it was loud, the foil would get hot, and I was still getting some razor bumps. So, I ordered the Remington and all I have to say is shame on Remington for not promoting this shaver more. I'm not sure why this shaver isn't on Remington's website or in the stores but this thing is great! It shouldn't be kept a secret. It's quiet, priced cheap compare to others, the cutters don't bog down or get hot, skin doesn't feel numb after shaving, gets all the hairs and most of all no razor burn or bumps. It doesn't shave as close as the Wahl 4000 but that's what you don't want if you have sensitive skin. The only thing that I wished it had is a stand to hold it. So, if you're like me don't suffer any longer, go buy it!
