I have purchased the 150a2 to power my two Rockford fosgate Punch subs. I have the 8 ohm punch sub so i am able to use ever watt of power and more because of parallel wirirng. Rockford Fosgate is really good with there amps. There are a couple of reason why you should chose Rockford over the other's
You have a chose of a switch crossover on the side or and X card. Crossover gives the power to change from low pass high pass and full. Low pass is what pushes the most bass. With the new design after installing you use an Allen wrench seal the top two sides and it gives a clean look to your install. Rockford Fostgate Under Rates their amps
I found that out when I bought the amp and when i compared it to an amp of a different brand but same specifications. I found that the RockFord amp put out more power so much that it made my freind return his previous amp for a Rockford. Though is is expensive this amp is a great entry level amp and will give all the power you need to power either entry level subs or pro components or a Head unit which has no internal amp (compitition head unit) usually a clarion. i found that most of Rockford's products out perform the likes of Mtx in many ways. Mtx amps are like oven's turn em on and get ready to cook and hear a dramatic drop in performance. The Rockford Amp get's hot but since it has special heat Sink technology and other tech. that i can't name off the top of my head it will perform at it's best for a long time. Choose Rockford and you have chosen quality, the amps are killer they are like a mugsy bogs amp. Small but can perform with the big dogs. Rockford amps all together are the only amp's i will recomend because i have see all amps at work none better than a Rockford.
