Pros: Power, clean bass, low price
Cons: I would't hook it up to highs
The Bottom Line: This amp has the power, the cleaness, and right now its dirt cheap.

| mrboom's Full Review: Rockford Fosgate Punch 250a2 Car Amp |
For your money, you can't go wrong with this amp. Its got power, clean bass, and will take punishment all day long and never give up. In total, including my system, i have installed 4 of these, and let me tell you, they are killer
The only major drawback is the heat, but just keep it away from anything too flammible, and as long as it doesn't auto shut off your ok. Alot of people complain about rockford amps heating up, but they just do. They may heat up, but there are heat protection circuts in there, so dont worry unless its shutting off all the time.
If you hook this up to a pair of 10 inch xlc (now called he) you cant lose. This amp was built to run a pair of these on a 2 ohm load stable. It will push them all day long, and if you build an oversize box and put it in a hatchback, like I did, you can hit very close to 139s on the spl scale.
The best part is that right now you can get last years model for like 140 bucks, which anit nothing, as people are trying to get rid of last years models.
Happy Bassing
