250A2 Bang for your buck

Pros: excellent sound and lots of power

Cons: not rated for 2ohm

The Bottom Line: I recommended this amp to anyone looking for an amp in this price and power range.

I use this amp to power 2 RF HE3810's. I have a RFX9300 deck. The 250A2 has excellent power output that is actually higher then what it is rated at. It has to be turned up to a very high level to get distortion. Although the 250A2 is rated for 4ohms I used it to power a 2ohm 10" Kicker square for a couple of months. It would overheat and turn off after about an hour of it cranked up, but that was longer then I expected it to run for. I have overheated a few times and after about 10 minutes of cooling it is ready to go again, so it has great temperature protection. The 250A2 is a great amp for the price. I highly recommend it if u are looking for an amp in this price range.
