| P_Neddie's Full Review: Rockford Fosgate Punch 800a2 Car Amp |
The Punch 800a2 is a great amp if your going to drive 1 15" 2 12" or 2 10" subs. But the only problem that I had with it was I had 3 10" HE2 subs in a box and it would over heat and shut down, ever time that I would turn up the volume to "bump" and type of music. Then I went back to Cartoys and bought the Powerline 800a2 and I've had that for 6 months now and not once have I ever had it shut down on me. But don't get me wrong if you are on a budget and you want a good amp go with the punch 800a2 but if you can dig in your pockets and find an extra 100 dollars I would recommend the Powerline series.
