Pros: cheap, good accessories, nice size
Cons: can be grainy, bad video mode, definate decrease in quality over time
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't buy this again because I feel like I threw my money away because now I need a new camera.

| auralia's Full Review: Samsung Digimax 430 (DBLDIGIMAX430) Battery Charge... |
I've had this camera for quite a while and payed 120$ for it during a black friday sale. The big selling eature for me was all the accessories and the MP (my previous camera only had 2O. My version came with a small memory card and carrying case. It runs on double A's and it is always wise to use the rechargables.
I bought this camera due to price and I do have to admit that for the price it was just fine, at first. After about a year it started to act up. The shutter speed went WAY down and it started to drain batteries even when it was off. Also started using more power than it did when I first bought it. At the end it could only take about 15 pics per set of double A's.
The pictures can at times be either blury or grainy and really it's the luck of the shot. I have taken some VERY nice pictures with this camera and I have taken some ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE pictures with this camera. Unfortunatly the terrible pictures tend to happen more than the good ones.
It has almost no low light functionality. All pictures taken in very low light are grainy and hard to make out. By low light I mean after the sun has gone down outside.
Overall if you can get this camera on the cheap it can be a good starter camera, perhaps for a child, but I am replacing it. I did use it for over a year, but I have been looking for a new camera for at least 6 months since the battery drain and shutter speed problems.
