a great tv

I shopped around for a projection tv for approx 6 mos and saw mostly RCA and Hitachi and Sony. Sony was way over priced, Hitachi was expensive and picture was acceptable,RCA had the best price but picture quality was in my opinion horrid. When I saw the 52" Samsung it was love at first site. At 300lbs it is a biggy and definately becomes the centre of intention of my living room. set up is simple with 3 video hookups 2 s-video hook ups and one component hookup. When I first set up to regular cable the picture was great.Digital cable became available in our area and I got that and found picture quality was improved and I was greatly satisfied. I recently hooked up with digital satelite and picture quality is amazing and the tv isnt even hooked up with component video yet only s-video. I have a home theatre system so audio is run through my a/v receiver but I can tell you that the sound this tv has is very good. Anyone who has visited is of the same opinion regarding picture quality as the common remark is they have never seen a projection tv with such a good picture.In the 6 mos I have had the tv I have not had any problems and from what I have I should not have for a long time to come at which time HDTV should be more affordable
