I bought mine yesterday and I'm delighted with it. At £999 at Comet this is fantastic value. It had everything I wanted in a laptop, Pentium 4 2800 processor makes it acceptably fast,512 MG of upgradable memory means they haven't skimped. Pre loaded with XP home (though I prefer pro) it's simply a matter of switching on.
One thing that isn't mentioned anywhere I can find is that it isn't a DVD ROM, but a DVD-RW that writes at 2x,something I really wanted.
The audio isn't brilliant, but then I can plug in 5.1 speakers if I'm that bothered. TV out is a bonus, I considered the Sony Vaio entertainment centre but it lacked that vital detail for me.
