Cons:No battery backup (fatal), complicated to set alarm, sleep timer, etc.
to me the drawbacks far outweigh what would otherwise be a great clock radio. It's beautiful as you can see and, except for the audiophile entries from Boston Acoustics, Tivoli, etc., it's the best sounding radio I've heard. However, it has no battery backup. I could not get the Atomic Clock feature to set the time, so I set it manually. We lost power the first night, so it reset itself to all "-0-". No battery backup. Even if the atomic feature worked, it would only reset the clock, not the alarm settings. I could've missed a flight. The manual is also sorely lacking in detail. It's a complicated thing to use, as it is designed. I'm returning it and getting a more conventional looking (and, unfortunately, conventional sounding) clock radio.
