| fernandine's Full Review: Agfa SnapScan E50 Flatbed Scanner |
I first got the SNAPSCAN E50 in 2000, when I didn't use it much yet, and after three months when I needed it, it broke for no apparent reason. Luckily, its guaranty took care of it, and I wasn't in a rush. Ever since then - 4 years later now - it's continued to work impeccably, surpassing all my needs and expectations for such a good deal.
As a graphic designer, I can say my only compliant might be that it doesn't seem to read the color 'orange' very well, which can be a very frustrating detail. Otherwise, it's fairly fast, and very easy to manipulate.
The slide/negative feature hasn't added much to the highlights of the product, for the final resolution is not that high. Though more than high enough for its price.
GREAT DEAL!
